OUR SERVICES
FOUNDATION MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES’ services include, but are not limited
to, the following:
 | Establish and develop the Non-Profit Foundation |
| Set up the client’s pre-tax planned charitable trust gift to the
Foundation |
| Administer all day-to-day Foundation operations, including
public relations and community empowerment |
| Develop and provide ongoing support for the Foundation’s website |
| Handle all Community Relations matters, including all requests
for charitable support |
| Create and oversee the Foundation’s Board of Directors and its
activities |
| Create and implement fundraising events and activities |
| Develop and implement Sports Camp, if desired by founder |
| Create and implement Signature Scholarship Dinner, if desired by
founder |
| Arrange and facilitate founder’s motivational speaking
opportunities |
| Technical Assistance to build capacity of existing non-profit
organizations |
| Create and implement H.E.A.T. Mentoring Program, if desired by
founder |
| Plan and implement Special Events, such as: |

Christmas or Back to School |

|
Foster Youth First, promoting post-secondary education |

|
High Scholars Fund, at client’s high school alma mater |

| Other services to be determined by the
founder and FMS. |
FMS makes sure that each Foundation complies with all legal and
technical requirements. Experts in all areas from financial management
to event planning manage the Foundation and its activities on a daily
basis. In short, FMS creates and manages a private, charitable
Foundation custom-tailored to each founder that will be personally
rewarding, tax-deferred and beneficial to his or her favorite charities,
hometown community and/or areas where the founder plays or performs.
Foundation Management Strategies LLC will serve as the Foundation’s
Business Manager. We will:

develop a slate of corporate officers and Board of Directors. |

|
provide leadership in identifying and leveraging additional funds to
support the Foundation. |
|
|
provide all services to facilitate the establishment of the
Foundation, including public relations, creation of a website and
strategic marketing designed to increase potential corporate
sponsorships and endorsements. |
|
|
liaison with Board president. |
|
|
liaison with financial representatives from Thornton & Fathy, LLP. |
|
|
provide daily monitoring of funded awardees. |
|
|
schedule and implement required quarterly Board meetings. |
|
|
establish an Advisory Board and the framework for partnering
invitations. |
|
|
develop and manage the Foundation’s annual budget. |
|
|
develop and manage Foundation fund-raising methods, including the
complete operation of the annual signature special events. |
|
|
manage all requests for personal appearances related to the Foundation
or other charitable events. |
|
|
conduct all ongoing day-to-day administrative duties to ensure the
efficient, effective management of the Foundation and its activities. |
Corporate Matching Program
If desired, this program allows businesses to participate in charitable
contribution by matching funds contributed by the client’s private
Foundation. Through this program, funds are matched dollar for dollar
with the Foundation’s tax-deferred contribution.
The benefit to businesses participating in this program is the exposure
they receive at the Foundation’s signature events, e.g. scholarship
dinners, camps, community events, etc. Contributing businesses are
recognized as co-sponsors in all marketing and advertising.
H.E.A.T. Mentoring Program
If desired, this program can be developed as part of the client’s
private Foundation. Based on industry standards in “Mentoring Programs”,
the program matches professionals and youth who share a common sports
interest. Mentees will have the opportunity to partake in scholarship
dinners, sports camps and other recreational activities sponsored by
professional athletes.
H.E.A.T.
is…
Health – educating youth in healthy diet, personal wellness and injury
prevention through the “Think First” workshops.
Education - encouraging youth to peak performance in academic studies in
grades K-12.
Anger Management – therapeutic training in anger control strategies to
reduce violent behaviors.
Training – physical fitness readiness for sports participation in
baseball, basketball, football and boxing.
