Foundation Management Strategies LLC is comprised of skilled professionals who bring valuable knowledge, experience and resources from both the public and private sectors to aid in the development and management of non-profit Foundations.

The efforts and expertise of the team members ensures the efficiency of the Foundation’s systems, the professional execution of the charitable interests of the founder, the empowerment of communities and an increase in each founder’s positive public image.

Our comprehensive information technology allows us to operate on the founder’s behalf across the nation and around the world.  Should he or she be traded or relocate, we have the workforce, technology and expertise to continue to offer our first rate services anywhere in the world.

To this end, Foundation Management Strategies LLC has formed “Partnership Alliances” with other firms in order to extend the finest service in all areas.  We have secured critical linkages, designed to carry out all of each Foundation’s services with the highest levels of expertise and professionalism.  All of these firms share our professional bond built on trust, quality, customer service and cost efficiency.  These firms are added features and can be utilized at the discretion of the founder and Foundation Management Strategies.
 

OUR TEAM:

Autie R. Hines II, Managing Partner, Business Services – Foundation Management Strategies LLC
With a degree in Business Administration from La Verne University, Mr. Hines has extensive managerial experience with top level institutions and organizations such as San Diego State University, METRO Social Services of San Diego, Courier Plus, Good Samaritan House Inc, and Thornton & Pacheco, LLP.  In addition, he served as a US Department of Labor Grant Review Panelist, working to evaluate and recommend grants and awards to faith and community based organizations.  Having worked closely with various federal funding agencies, he has a solid history with strong ties to the faith based and national sports communities.

A.J. Kelley, Director of Operations - Foundation Management Strategies LLC
As a former USFL professional football player, Mr. Kelley brings a unique prospective to our team.  Able to personally relate to our clients’ overwhelming pressures, demanding schedules and constant calls for their time and resources, he serves as an excellent advisor and confidant to each celebrity/athlete and his or her family members.  He is an expert at bridging the gap between the professional and personal worlds of the client and the business requirements of the Foundation. 

Larry Thornton, Managing Taxation Partner – Thornton & Fathy, LLP
With over thirty years’ accounting experience in both the public and private sectors, Mr. Thornton is a specialist in taxation.

Mohamed Fathy, Managing Accounting Partner – Thornton & Fathy, LLP
Mr. Fathy is a Certified Public Accountant and heads the accounting department of Thornton & Fathy, LLP.

Maria Alma Contreras – Managing Accounting Partner – Thornton & Fathy, LLP
With a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Accounting, Ms. Contreras is a Certified Public Accountant and audit principal with Thornton & Fathy, LLP.

Nancy Castillo – Marketing/Media Consultant – Castillo Consulting LLC
Ms.Castillo, a well known Emmy-nominated television talk show host, heads a marketing/communications consultancy specializing in business linkage development, branding, image development and enhancement, media training and high profile personality marketing. The firm features the production of interview videos for placement on websites.
